Interesting adages from times gone by....
These rules that have been handed down through the centuries and practiced mostly by the Druids of old and is the ritual expected if the herb is to retain full power.
* Pluck herbs with your left hand, never your right
* Never face into the wind
* Never glance behind you
* Never touch an herb with cold iron
* Never let a blade touch the roots
* Always talk to the herb as you cut it so it knows what your
intentions are
* Never let the herb touch the ground
* Wear white linen and no shoes or no cloths
* More power can be added to the herb is you fast and abstain from sex a day or
two prior to plucking the herb
* Herbs are best plucked at night usual at sunset, midnight or
sunrise.
