Hillary's Cherished Gowns

A community group of volunteers providing bereavement gowns and accessories created from donated wedding gowns for babies in the Akron, Ohio area.

A committee of dedicated volunteers have organized Hillary's Cherished Gowns, which will primarily provide bereavement gowns and accessories created from donated wedding gowns for babies in NICUs and nurseries affiliated with Akron Children's Hospital.

 

We currently have approximately 120 donors who have offered their wedding gowns and are working on collecting them. We can always use more people to sew gowns, we have a seamstress application available, please message us with your email address and we can send it to you.

 

 

The Confetti Foundation

The mission of The Confetti Foundation is to supply birthday parties to children who have to spend their birthday in the hospital.

The foundation was started with the hope that families will be able to shift their focus from their child’s sickness for just 30 minutes and celebrate. Although the party is not a cure, it will be a welcome distraction and good reminder that every child deserves to be celebrated.

 

The Confetti Foundation is recognized by the state of Rhode Island as a tax deductible charitable organization, and is an approved 501(c)(3) non profit organization by the federal government.

 

Through the Partnership of Children’s Hospitals in the United States, The Confetti Foundation hopes to be accepted into all 50 states with the help of volunteers, aka birthday fairies and heroes.
