These Precious Memory Teddy Bears were made from clothes that otherwise would have been sent to a charitable organization, but instead were turned into a loving memorable keepsake:
A favorite nightgown, sweater, dress worn to a wedding,
child's top and more were used to create these bears and
keep a memory of a loved one close.

by using Birch bark, silk flowers, eucalyptus spray, beading, and blue eucalyptus pods.

Topiary using Birch Bark
This unusual topiary rests on a clay pot
base that was painted, glazed and sealed
to create a depth to the colors.
Curls of birch bark were layered and then
small grape vine, raffia and copper wire
was curled around the figure.
Hops and hydrangea flowers along with imitation
berries were added to the sides, and to top off
the topiary, sprays of northern sea oats,
broomcorn and sweet annie are crowned with
a rose pinecone tipped in gold.

Wooden Birdhouses, using various paint techniques, decorated with dried flowers with roosting birds. Fabrics and shingles decorate the roofs. (not recommended for outdoor use)
Fall wreath: Made from all dried materials in and around my yard.
Winter wreath: made with the usual collected pine cones, dried thistle stocks spray painted white, dried roses, many things from my yard and surrounding area.
