Not a Creature was Stirring – your very own Christmas Mouse card
This little mouse is made from birch bark, dressed in a Santa hat with faux fur trim
and surrounded with packages bulging from the stocking. The stocking cuffs are
decorated in a variety of trims, vintage laces, buttons and fabrics, which were hung
with care. The card is heavy card stock, 5.5” x 8.5”

Inspired by the song "The Christmas Shoes" the following
cards are made with red and green silks and satins and a
variety of ribbons and lace.
Edith Wharton - Novelist is the inspiration for this card.
“There are only two ways of spreading the light --
to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.”
Message on inside is a verse from Matthew 5:14-16
The church window is cut out from earth tone cardstocks and aged using special inks. The border of the window is 'Ivy' covered using several layers of machine stitching and a variety of colored threads.
The window has at least 3 layers of materials simulating window cross bars, netting and screening.

Lady Bug Card
These ladies are decorating their tree too!
The tree is a small piece of limb from a Cedar, complete with tiny
pinecones.
The red ornaments on the tree are dried seeds from the Burning Bush.
The yellow petal behind the star is from the Rudebeckia Flower.
Fennel borders the handmade paper.
The ladybug bodies are made from petals of the Red Salvia Flower.
The spots on the ladybugs are Nigelia seeds.
The heads on the ladybugs are Yucca plant seeds.
The feet are Broomcorn seeds.
Antenna and other set of legs are from black thread.

Each Card is lovingly made with bits and pieces of leftover ribbons, laces, rick rack, and materials gathered
over 40 years from relatives both with us and who are now endearing memories. Each card has a spattering
of snow (paint) on the outside and the inside, the inside is stamped with gold stars. A blank insert page is
provided for your own personalized message, or one of your choosing can be pre-printed.
